do u need to split em to get driveshaft out from the gearbox

No, you can undo the two bolts that tie it to the suspension arm and tie rod. Its simpler than seperating them.

two bolts on the suspension arm, 18mm, youll need a deep socket to get under through the arm as well. cant miss em.

You will need a fork type ball joint splitter, the pinch bolt is 13mm iirc.

if your replacing them just use the biggest hammer in yer tool box.
