Just bought a Road Angel 2 and have registered it online but it says i have to wait 1 working day before i can download updates for it..
But i need it to be updated by tomorrow as i'm travelling down to Surrey for a few days and that was the whole point in buying it.
Just wondering if there is any possible way to get updates before my registration has gone through? ..
Cheers.

my dad registered his an it only took a few hours to register. It still has a basic memory of cameras already on there, its just the most recent ones it hasn't got. When u start the road angel up, just press enter when u get the warning about the registration and it'll find the satellites an work !!!

Mine doesn't seem to find satellites..
Not had it plugged into the car yet, but sitting here with it plugged into my PC and it has had the message "Searching for Satellites" for over 5 minutes now...

as said above, it will still know the majority of camera positions, just not the new ones since it was updated

I haven't got a 'power cable' that can plug into a socket. Only 2 cigarette lighter cables and a USB cable..
But anyway, just been out to the car and it seems to be working.. Woooo!
It had detecting satellites message for a few mins and then it came up with the speedometer reading. Drove down the street and the speedo thing works so i assume that means it has picked up satellites..
I'll go out for a blast past some speed cameras later and see if it detects them.
Cheers for the help everyone. I love you all!
