Im planing on smoothing the rear on my corsa c, will a corsa b boot pop work. don`t know if one is made for the C yet, gonna do most of the work my self. once i`ve got the pop kit in ill fill it in with fiber glass smooth it down then take it to be sprayed. Anyone done this yet?

Aye a universal soleniod will be fine

I would't recommend a DIY smooth boot tho especially with fibreglass. Most people weld a plate over then just a thin skim of filler and then paint. Fibreglass will crack and fall out in no time

Dunno because the corsa c only has a small recess where the handle is, its no where near the size of the corsa b. Cheers Anyway

Welding over it will be quicker than trying to fill it in with filler too... Much longer lasting as well

i did my own flush tail gate on my old fiesta ,real good job aswell n saw the guy who baught it off me after bout a year n its all startin to bubble up now

bearin in mind i used filler & fibre glass big no no i say but weldin wud be good!

ermmmm i bought one of those flush tailgate panels from a company.. its in fibreglass - do you think that will be ok?


p.s. i just jammed my feckin finger in the car door

it wud prolly be ok for a while but eventually it wud crack n go all sh!tty go for the weldin even if it costs more to get sum1 to do it ,will be worth it in the long run
