For the last 35 mins i've been looking for info on ISP Open and Closed Code. What search engines do people on here use as Google and Ask are pants

yeh - explain some more as i banged both of those into google and it came up with all sorts of shit - is ISP Open a company??? and Closed Code some sort off app ????

Ian, we are given a course-work and told what book the info is in but it's not in the LRC and not on Amazon or in Blackwells.

It's something to do with your ISP in terms of what you can and cannot download, view etc. I've sort of found a page on it but i can't understand it.

if it's something to do with isp - and your saying its about downloading then there will be guidelines set out by some sort of organisation who regulate isp's - would try searching on that - maybe try nominet's site - dunno if thats the kinda info you need but would probs be a good place to start

All ISP's are regulated by Oftel/Ofcom

Found a bit of info in a Journal. I’ll just re-write it in my own words and reference it.

The course-work is not due in until mid November but I found it quite interesting so thought I’d make a start. Got one due in a week tomorrow so I’ll have to start that one tomorrow.
