My top speed on the flat used to be 110mph with the rev limiter a touch below 6000rpm. But recently i swapped my cat back exhaust system with the standard one as it was blowing pretty bad and got to 119mph!! Couldnt believe it. The rev limiter was right on the 6500rpm red line so i slowed down. My cars definatly quicker with the standard exhaust back on, iv even kept up with an N reg fiesta si and a corsa 1.6 sport. Well chuffed

I've never been passed 110 in mine, it takes too long! and the longer your speeding for the more chance of getting caught!

Does it even matter?? You WILL lose your license if you regularly do these speeds on public roads, besides, 110 is about as fast as the 1.4 will go without extensive mods. Sport/GSi 1.6 will be considerably quicker to 100 than the 1.4 anyway.

thats abit shite for a 1.2....ive had 180 out of my 1lt the police 3lt omega couldnt keep up, they had to get a chopper onto me...but even that had difficulties but then again i did have 28" wheels, which are easy to fit with abit of arch modding, plus some stickers down my doors and flashing neon washer jets which had about 200break easy
