I have made a big decision today!!!
Im leaving my job and going to Uni next year!
the problem i am now faced with is that i have debts and obviously i wont be working all the time so wont be able to keep up my repayments.
does anyone know a way of funding uni and what i can do about my debts?
this is something i really want to do because i am sick of this:

Wank is'nt it, when my mate rings me from Iraq it makes my job seem so insignifcant.
I'm going to purchase another Nova and do a conversion myself over winter, I am so excited
This is what keeps me going, I am going to have a fleet of Novas.

uni! pmsl everyone hypes about uni, why is it that alot of people go uni get in loads of debt then work in a shite job doing nothing todo with what they went to uni for. get a job u enjoy im in the building tade (carpenter) i love my job but yeah i look forward to the weekends but wouldn't want to have done a-levels and go uni just to get in debt, thats not me. My opinion but its upto u mate if u want to get in debt and know what u want to do in your life then fair play, whats your current job?

I wouldn't go to Uni just for the sake of it. Whats the point in that you'll just end up going out every night for about 3 weeks and then have exhausted your student loan and be even more miserable.
You could always get a job while your there. Also if you are not at Uni doing something you are not even remotely interested in or you are not working towards something you will feel even worse then what you do now

Only go to Uni if your weeelllly weeellly sure its something you want to do.
Iv been twice now and left after just about a year. Its not all its cracked up to be. Worst thing is all the spare time, sounds great but tis boring or if you have a class for an hour at 9 and the next one isnt till 4. GRRRRR
Also are you going to live in or at home?

Surely you had work to do in that time? Reading etc. Im constantly reading.
Please dont go to uni just to socialise, doss about and come away with a 3rd. Do it properly and get a good degree.
As for funding, i live at home, had a job for the first two years, i quit this year to concentrate on my final year though. Used all my loan though Spent it on cars, booze etc.
Should come away with a good 2:1 or even a first though

If you are going to uni next year, the term will start in September. There for this gives you 9 months to save and pay your debts off before going. As for funding uni, get a student loan. Depending on your circumstances, you will get between £3000-£4500 a year, along with a student bank account if you set one up, which will allow an interest free overdraft of £1250.

I am at uni mate, but still live with parents so this saves alot of money. Also work at M+s in the warehouse unloading lorries etc about 20 hours a week. It sounds like you dont really want to go to uni, just fance a change in life. Have you considered something different such as fire/poice/ambulance/army/navy/raf etc etc. What do you do for a job now mate??

Point of the story my job now there's poeple who have gone to uni and got a levels and degree's and are doing the same job as me. The difference is they are in loads of debt and i spend my extra money modding my car

im an IT administrator at the moment but next month i become IT Manager which is strange because i will be in charge of someone who has been to uni and all ive got is A-levels and experience and yet will be in a higher position than someone who has been to uni!
the problem is though i am so fed up though this job is too stressfull and far too many hours and i can never even have a day off.
