Apparently there has been a problem with their sms system, so loads of texts have been missed out on earlier bills, and they are just getting whacked on now!
Just got a bill for like £85, sumin like over 600 messages have been added on extra

not mine though, its me mothers, shes well pissed off. Already foned O2 and they say its in the contract, and theres nothing they can do
seems a bit crap tbhm dont have these problems with Orange

Ask to see copies of all the txt msg's

ie, the date they were sent, the time and the number they were sent to.

Check ur contract and ask them exactly where it says that they can do this

i had loads of sms msgs sent 2 my fone and i thought it was some advertising thing?? got bills for £85 and then £100+ just for receiving them and i didnt sign up fot them and now o2 refuse 2 pay money bk

read the small print and ask them to say under what claws that it allows them to do this
i very much doubt that it says they can add extra txts on, nor remend their own errors -
or do what i would do and say "its your cock up, o2 fault not mine, i want my money back otherwise i wlll stop the direct debit and go elsewhere"..and see what they say, chance is they will be like you cant do that blah blah, but if your paying by direct debit cancel it and let them sweat it out
