My car just fell on me!
Was fitting a new centre section and had 2 axle stands at the front and a jack at the back. Was nearly finished, just had to get the backbox sitting right then all of a sudden the car fell on me! I was on ma back holding the car up off my chest, wondering how to get help! I waited to see if anyone walked past so I could cry help but after 5 mins I got bored! So I managed to kick my wheel towards the back bumper and jam it under there and slide out!

Axle stands were on chassis and jack was just to get rear wheel off. It's still funny though! Was thinking about a 999 reconstruction where the pensioner across the road would use his super human strength to lift the car off me!

Two jack stands EVERY time I go under the car and normally the jack just under a mount to support it

i was changing the anti roll bars on my dads BMW and the bolts were well rusty so we decided to heat em to get it off (wasnt workin ) so we decided to burn them off at the nut
soooo when it was off the anti roll bar lay on the ground when my dad turned to talk to me and pointed the burner away from me and a few seconds past and BBBBAAANNNGGG the ball in the anti roll bar came shooting out of the bar and hit the inside if the pit i was in
to say i shit myself was an understatment
would have been fcukin sore if it had hit me

He wouldn't have held the weight of the whole car though, just a part and the rear of the car at that, with no fuel in two people could lift the rear of the car up pretty easily. If the front fell on him he would be hurt a little bit.

yes two people, this is one person bench pressing it, also manovering a wheel under the car with his leg and smoking a cig with one hand and on the phone at the same time

Lifting the rear end of a car isnt actually that hard, front is obviously a different story
