i thot i was gonna get shaffted.

i did 87 in a 40 and failed to stop for the police.

i got 6 points and £100 fine

need to sit ma test again but no ban

i was expecting a ban, double the speed limit is an instant ban as is failing to stop. judge must have got some last night

ye skippy gonna sit test as soon as but its a 5 week waiting list for theory and practical

...

I hit 130 on the m8 back from glasgow on sunday but road was quiet and 'I'
thought it was ok....but i didn't get stopped......I have been drivin for 12-13 years and never had a point on licence...think I ma lucky...........

Must have been at least that as the top speed of my Astra's 135 and it's got an extra 600cc's to play with.

Livi lion if you've got an extra 600cc to play with i'm assuming your talkign about a 2.2 astra?

Tees2.2 has had hers off the clock at 140 and it was still going

also AJ yours is only the 1.6 aint it? and Macd's astra only got 135 out of it standard and i had my old mans mondeo at 135 both are 1.8's how can you explain the fact that a 1.6 16v SXi has a 100bhp yet your car has the same speed yet it has the same engine as an SXI?????

The Engine in your car was used in the SXi's which is proven at around 100bhp

Aye, I've got a 2.2 Astra Coupe. Also the speedo on mine goes up to 160 not 140.
