You still haven't got fucking tyres? Just goto your local tyre place and see what they recommend!

14's for £65

I can get 17/18's for less than that here

Just go for budget ones - they will do the job your going to need them for!

I run 185/60/14 IIRC, so you should only be looking around £35 per corner for fairly good tyres.

I get 195/45/16 for £28, they are budget, but £65 for 185/60/14 is a bit too much

I can get 4 budget tyres for £70 but i'm a little worried what they will be like once you have been doing 70 - 75 MPH for 45 mins

Still on the rim I hope

As long as there speed rated (and the lowest speed rating covers up to 140mph so you will be ok there ) and not some shady re-moulds you will be fine.

Budget tyres will probably last longer cos the wont be as soft a compound as some of the expensive ones!

The lowest speed rating is far lower than 140mph, it's 87mph

ZR are 149mph and over, Y is 180mph.
My spare is the same rating as my normal tyres, also. Didn't think they even made 60mph rated tyres!

i had quite the opposite experience of mytyres.
ordered 2No 195/45 15 avon zv3's. came to £101 for the pair which i was happy with.
had an email confirming i'd take delivery within 14 days of the order being processed, but they were on my doorstep within 5 days, so i was a very happy chappy, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
