i'm 18 and am trying to get insured on a corsa wiv full wide arch bodykit, 18's, lowered and exhaust system, but ive been gettin stupid quotes like 3k 3rd party fire and theft!! what do most people do? do i not tell the insurance company and insure it as a standard corsa? plz help, what do u lot do? cheers

go through ur mum or dad,if they drive? alot cheaper.

im with tesco, got insured then said iv added body kit and they said just write a letter and send it to them so they know what changes iv done and that was that, but i find direct line realy cheap

when i was 18 (last year) was £500 on my dads name fully comp with all mods declared

try elephant or admiral. not the best company s to deal with and only 10 month policys but i only pay £500 everything declaired

cis allow any mods except engine, thats who i was with.

Its not the body kit thats so important its the engine ya aint said what engine its got

18 fully comp on my own, 1 yr ncd £1600 liverpool victoria, they dont count for bodykits alloys, but they dont let u go engine conversions so i av to wait until next yr now

mate CIS allow most mods free of charge except major engine work. or im with adrian flux and mines 780 for my sport with 1.6 conversion, velos inlet, unichip, exhaust, induction kit, lowered 45mm etc etc

i was 19 when i got that quote 1yNCB then tho
