not sure when phase one started - K reg i think, changed at about P which changed front grille/bonnet, single unit headlights/indicators, bumpers changed (smoother curves) and rear lights changed (straight red at top and black at bottom instead of the L shaped red bit like a 205) Also changed dash slightly - just subtle changes to switchgear etc. Then about T reg came phase 3, only body shape mod was the removal of the thin black strip along the bottom edge of the boot. Bumpers/strips and handles all colour coded and dual optic polycarbonate (clear) headlights. Interior got new seats on some models and slightly more plush dash - chrome gear knob cap etp/door handles etc. Exhausts were also changed slightly on those models where its visable.
Hope this helps...

Yep Phase 3 and 2 are virtually the same, just a couple of nicer bits on it.

yeah as stated that's the phase 3 and the meridian has a nice interior! good choice. And a trip to get it chipped will see 115-120 bhp and a nice chunk of extra torque

Go to www.dervdoctor.co.uk (or something like that!)
Get him to sort you out a chip and a dump valve!
Nothing better than a tttiiissshhshhh!
Also if you are chipping it your clutch might not last too long so get the up-rated clutch from him aswell lol

The Phase 3 was new lights and little bits over the Phase 2. They really did exist.

The 307 was designed to take over once the 306 was stopped but production overlapped. Yes 307's are complete garbage unfortionatly. Riddled with electrical faults, gearbox faults, engine faults, suspension faults - u get the idea. I quite like them to drive, its a shame they are so unreliable When we questioned peugeot their response (from the customer relations management team at pug uk) was.....wait for it....."When peugeot produce a new car that is what you get. They do not modernise older designs in the way that the likes of VW do, they start from scratch. This means there will always be teathing problems" What a load of bullshit
