saw these at southend on saturday night and myself and a mate are looking at getting 2
found 40mph full fairing r1 replicas for £250 each
just wondering what people think to them etc?
how often the clutch springs snap?

Mines been dead reliable touch wood, mates clutch went bang first time he used his tho..
Such great fun tho, got mine mounted in the boot of my car instead of subs etc Love the reaction when I ask people if they want to see my boot install

there's a local industrial estate, only part built, we go to a quiet corner down there, where we aren't disturbin anyone... Theres five of us, all racin round a custom circuit we made
got derestricted exhaust on mine, with straight thru fuel line, doin 40mph a foot off the floor is great

problem is the car is expensive and track days cost a bomb, used to have motocross bike but sold when stopped racing, trials bike id dead just want something for a laugh with some mates in a car park!
do you find it easy to ride?
reasonably fast?? get to speed quick?

id love one but aint got 250, wikid tho wiht a few of ta mates i reckon, u could prob take them round a go kart circuit if u ask

I'm 6'2", and it looks mad when I'm riding it, but yeah, they're ok once you get the hang of em... It does feel quick, acceleration varies depending on the sprocket you get on the bike, larger means more acceleration, smaller gives higher top speed IIRC

yeh i understand all that, just wondered if it takes ages to get to speed with the weight??
Were looking at full fairing ones and going to attempt rossi replicas

yeah, one of the guys has the green and white one that comes up when you click the top pic...
Mine came with stickers etc, but I didn't put them on, it's bein done to compliment my car, so will have some irmscher badging on there eventually.

nah were after the full fairing race spec jobs, found them on ebay for £250 with k+n and race exhaust and reed valve!
Also its a r1 replica sweet!!

They're basically chainsaw engines in em, so you can go to a local lawnmower repair place for most parts, its what we do...
