Missus has a 3 fone or is it 3G?
Anyway tried my simcard in it, now it wont work says sim card isnt in and it is 
took it to carfone warehouse and sim card works in another fone, so it looks like its sumin to do with handset
so now 3 want it sent to them and u have to pay to have it repaired, shouldnt it be covered by warranty?

if its under 12 months yes.,...just tell them u didnt put a sim in....as in u woke up 1 morning and it said that.

Deny all knowledge about it. If its 3 then its some dodgy call centre out in india, have a look in your manual and pop it in the post to them, or contact someone like MPRC, or any otherised repair centre who dont know the history about it.
