like samsungs...i dont think u can.
unless u wanna take the loudspeaker out....which wuld therefore get rid of ure mp3 ringtones etc and u wont hear whos calling u haha

Its most probably a code, icy has the code for an E700 to turn camera noise off, my p900 dont make a sound on silent

Only way I know to stop the camera sound is:
Menu >> Settings >> Sounds & alerts >> Volume >> 0
But obviously then u won't hear ur phone ring when someone calls or texts u (unless vibrating alert is on) or any other sounds at all.

well, it's the same volume wether the phones on normally, in silent, or even if i turn down the volume to 0 in sounds and alerts.

you can't turn off the shutter tone on my s700
maybe its the newer versions of sony ericssons that are like this i shall try one of the new ones at work tomorrow mykael angello
