Apart from the boot floor obviously, where else did you put it? Did you take many of the plastic panels off to do it? When doing the doors, did you put it on the inner or outer metal, or both?

bloody anywhere and everywhere. i did outer panels, as these were larger and more prone to flexing under high s.p.l.'s

You only need one roll - wrap it around your head and you maximise the deadening effects

What..??
Makes perfect sense to me. Also worthwhile if you're addicted to the smell of bitumen.
I once saw a lorry full of bitumen - Broster will confirm this.
That's the end of the story

I got the bulk pack of dynamat extreme, 9 rolls. Used 2 or 3 in the boot already, might just make sure the back is done properly then do the front doors when i can afford some more! Im getting SteveWs old components, so will def need some in the front too!

I had enough in mine to do the lot pretty nicely... COuld always do with a few more rolls to weigh the plastics down a little but other than that - not rattling

I did the boot floor and up the sides, the front doors both skins, rear quarters and surrounding area, under rear seats and down to the floor, and the roof aswell!
Wish id done under the front seats when i had the carpet out but it would of been another 6-8 rolls and i think 18-20 is enough!

Yeah sound deading is a lot of money, I want to do the whole floor plan of the Nova and the inside of the doors, wings and the roof to make it lovely and quiet.
But I will be looking at the best part of £300-400 for something you can't even see

£14 for a roll. But it's not sound deadening material. It's crap Put two layers down if you want
Graficxpress' deal is the one to go for. I need to do the outer skin of my doors and maybe the floorpan to finish off mine.
