No cummon - coz my cousin has found a site that sells a double pack of 12" cold cathodes for £2.87p delivered !!!!!
They do all colours and 4" ones to !

cathodes work at have higher output voltage tahn neons.. hence when they use cathode in Bars/Clubs etc.
BUT Cathodes come in various outputs.
The ones forsale at neoquip have 32000cd/m2 output.. where as the ones else where are only 18000cd/m2.

for the price id go for ebuyer every time. I got one tri coloured cathode in my PC and it lights it up really well

The cold cathodes are more than bright enough for lighing up footwells. One 12" per well, and its just right. If its too dull, just put a pair in each well. Hell for £3 a pair, there still gonna be cheaper than a set of "propper" neons .

Yeah ebuyer...VEry cheap - have fitted them in his Yaris and he outshines my neons easily...
