Hi all
Am a new member need help
Am having the Koni Sport kit fitted on Thursday and need to know....
1- I know the front dampers can be adjusted from under bonnet, but how do the rears adjust? will i need to tell the garage how i want them b4 they install them?
2- What settings would people recommend, bearing in mind, i live in the rural countryside and go off road quite often?

i think you get a spanner with yer shocks and there a valve on the side of the shock that u turn one way for soft and the other way for hard.
as far as i am aware koni's are filling removers anways so start on the soft setting and adjust it to yer liking.
i also may be talking complete bo11ocks though....

can't see any valve on em?
fronts one have a removable plastic knob that u stick on and turn, rear one's look normal

The Kit is to hard, just leave it with the softest set
you have to remove the rears and turn them, so they get harder

dont have too take the rear wheels off to do the back shocks.
fronts can be adjusted in seconds, although as said, even on softest setting they are very hard. on hard there is no suspention atall.

It will be very bumpey, koni's are about as hard as they go, i had mega hard suspension on my GSI, G-max 60mm springs and Apex shocks and i got mega pissed off with it at times, had to take speed humps at about 6mph or the rear end would take off, lol

yeah should do, i had the apex 40mm kit before sticking on the 60mm springs, it just wasnt low enough, bloody apex springs only lower about 25mm lol, first thing i noticed with shock and spring combo was the rear end not bouncing, ya might be ok, just set em soft to make sure

If you want a corsa that handles, and not too bumpy you should fit KW V1,V2 or V3 coilovers. It's simply the best suspension available
If you want good ride and handling fit Eibach springs and black billies, only 35mm front and 20mm rear, but it handles
I've got Konis and Eibach and it's hard and bumpy as Sh*t.
Superb handling on good roads, but bumpy and too hard on bad roads

Or try Fomel K, www.formelk.de confort (KFK) dampers and -40mm springs.
It's cheap and they rated it as confortable suspension, shocks are only uprated 15 to 20%.
Cheers

I found i could drive faster down 80% of the roads round my town in a standard motor than i could in my GSI, the suspension made it unbearable to drive fast down shite roads, can only give it the lead foot treatment on dual carriage ways really

I used to have an Audi S3 with KW coilover V2 and a Subaru with Eibach's and Konis. You can drive the car eqquiped with Kw coils every time in every type of roads. The cars eqquiped with Kony are unbearable around towns

you forget you have too hold the steering wheel really hard too on bumpy roads.
seriously though mate, the car handled very well with them, just put them on soft and it wont be that bad.

The FK' are quite soft m8, too soft for my liking still really, im gonna get koni adjustible rear dampers to replace the crap FK ones, and probably get shorter/stiffer front springs...

lol, i must admit handling is improved like 1 million times by fitting the Rear ARB, i think with the bigger front one, higher poundage springs and koni rear dampers it shud be ok.
