im sure there is a probably a thread somewhere explaining this... if so PM me with the URL and delete this thread!

anyway:

I want to debadge it, but ive read elsewhere that annoyingly there are holes under the badges. how should i get my badges off and what shall i do with the holes?

There are no holes behind the door and boot badges.

Just get your hairdryer out and an old credit card or something with an edge and work them off. You might need some white spirit for the glue that gets left behind, but give it a good scrub and a clean and then everything will be fine. Remember that for a few days you're gonna have the lighter colour behind the badges though

there are two holes behind the vaux sign on the boot lock though, bit of filler then can of paint covers it up nicely

or just fit a solenoid & remove the boot lock surround

yes debadging went ahead today

it look a lot of heating with my mothers hair dryer.

was worth it though.

i only took the "vauxhall" and the "corsa" badge of and lef the the "12v" one on.

i might go for the vaux sign on the boot lock soon.

The vaux logo on the bootlock has 2 holes behind it mate, wudnt bother with that 1 unless u are plannin to fill them over and colour code it

most garages have summit called a caramel wheel which takes all the glue off in seconds + buffs the paint underneath as well.
white spirt can damge the paint work

To be fair you'd have to do something pretty clever with methylated/white spirit to damage the paint - I used it about twice and had no noticeable effects... two months later and everything is till a-ok
