WHen I had the bumper off my GSi, the wiring which runs behind the crash-bar, there was a connector which was not connected to anything. Had a brown & green wire going in it (think)
I didnt get no pics as my camera is dead, the only thing I can think its related to is headlight washers???
anyone any ideas?? nothing in the haynes manual about it...

It's for the inflatable penis option. Very rare, but you see a few in Germany.

Does your MFD in the car show a temperature or just --.--? Its more than likely the plug for the sensor

the MFD does show the temp, its defo not that... I know as I replaced that sensor about 2 months ago
i only found this by removing the crash bar from the front of the car, as it was tucked behind that

I have to agree, i found a lost plug in my door when i had it apart.
found a connector it fitted into and plugged it back in feling very pleased with myself.
however when i locked the car it broke the central locking and made it so i cudnt get into the car. had to pay to get it opened and unplug it....
LOL so the lesson is leave it be.

i found one before... it turned out to be the headlight adjuster thingy. obviously someone had pluged it out for a reason cos the motor in the headlight wouldnt stop clicking with the wire connected... safe to say its unpluged at the moment.

i looked in the wiring diagrams but there was nothing there
im tempted to plug it in, see what its does just wire up a meter to it & see whats going through it, and incase it is a 2nd fan
maybe one of the other owners replaced the standard fan with 2 on the front of the rad at some point & then replaced the standard fan back & removed the 2, but left the plug
yes I know, if everything works, leave it... but it is really bugging me as to what it is
