Got some 6x9's running off a Directed Audio amp, And going to have a 2000watt sub running off my Rockford X6 amp
That's it.
As exciting as it gets.
Dont plan on going any bigger, as it'll only get nicked
(you've gota look at things like that when you live near Luton )
What i wana know:
For such a small install, is it really worth bothering with Sound Deadening
Cause it is expensive stuff. Anyone on cs got sound deadening, and never looked back? or is it a waste of money...
Like i say, it's only a small install i got.

tiz the best and most important part of ur install in my opinion, but im in to my installs in a big way now, if u get ur car sound proofed its proven to make it sound twice as loud, tho i dnt fink its worth u spending alot of money on it mate because u havnt got alot of gear in there and ur probs not competeing next year? if u have spare cash lying around i wud say go for it, but i think money cud go better else where for you mate

so true, and no offence but its a legacy amp... not exactly 'da bolloxs' as u put it...
When people are fitting 2 x 12's etc.. with some real power sound deadening is virtually a requirement, but it makes any stereo sound cleaner and louder, even if only by reducing background noise.

i'm also going to be getting the Ivanhoe stuff
Hoping that it reduced road noise more than anything else to be honest.
took a drive in my old man's Alfa and it was so quiet and nice, wished mine was like that.

thats basically what im doing, im getting a LOT of rolls and im gonna whack it on everywherefloor roof etc..
already have extreme on doors and boot, might put a layer of ivanhoe ontop of the layers of extreme for go measure tho lol.
in the end i will have roughly 15 rolls of extreme and 15+ rolls of ivanhoe in the car....
