Seeing as its the worse time of the year to sell a car just wondered how people who have got theres up for sale are getting on?
Sold recently or had much interest?
Do you think there will be a significant difference selling in Jan then now?

yes but you will only get people ringing if there looking for 106's tho...

Mines been in Autotrader for the last 2 weeks. I've lowered the price down to £2195 but no calls 
Think it's a bad time of the year to sell, but Jan aint gonna be much better.
Got signs in the windows of my car too now.

Only posted mine up on a few websites and noticies on car....
had a few interested no hard offers yet though...
I'm not in any rush so not paying to advetise it just yet...
Think once xmas is out the way it will be better..ppl don't want to spend money before xmas...

Never a good time to sell a car really, patience is the key  I wouldn't go slashing prices, if you have it up for what it's worth then hold out for the price!

Mines for sale on a few sites atm, will be in next weeks Trader aswell if I get my finger out.
Same here Mav, lots of people asking questions etc, but no solid offers.

I tried to sell mine last year before christmas and a few calls nothing major. Left it till feb first person to ring came a purchased.

Ditto. Had somebody who was v.interested. They had a Lupo GTi and thought they could easily insure the Cup, but their insurers wouldn't touch them.

ive been off the road for 2months trying to sell my car, iv finally given up now and decided to keep. cnt wait till wednesday when my car is back on the road tho
