i'm sat at liverpool airport at the moment waiting for my girlfriend to get back from paris, and have my trusty wire cutters to hand...
i want the date to be displayed on the mfd when the radio is on, so wondering which wire i have to cut in the iso loom to sort this out?
cheers!

unplug the remotelead from the loom if you have bullet connectors on your HU that the easiest and what i did, and saves cutting anything and can be put back together etc etc
However, if your aerial has a booster in the base, then you will loose power to that - although i live in a decent radio area so i never find that a problem
However, its the red and grey wire mate in the loom...pin 10 i believe

can you tell me why not? if the wire is connected to an amp or such then just cut after the connection. i have done this with every stereo i have had, and when i sell it on i just join it back up.

like i said cut the blue wire.
if you have an amp, connect the part of the blue wire going into the stereo as it will still be giving a 12v feed.

Paul the easiest way to do it without having problems with the radio signal in the future is to cut the grey wire with the red tracer in the ISO block.

well I cut the blue wire in the adaptor lead for now & radio signal doesnt seem to be affected - mind, its good reception here...
I noticed on the back of the ISO plug in the corsa itself, the grey & red one is ajoined with a black & white one (guessing the amplifier for the radio signal)
will route that through seperately another time when I fit my other HU in a few months after its fixed

i take it, you dont have a bullet connector one the blue remote lead?
but yea, the black/white one is the radio booster power
