when home this weekend to buy a L-reg GSi (yes it's a bit pink:lol
with a fallen of cam belt. 74k one owner, never had the cambelt changed. And this happens








The spare head a mate had in his shed had two slightly bend valves, so could fit the new one this weekend, valves on order so got to wait till I go home again in 2weeks to get it running again.

And no I'm not keeping it, I still think nova's are the future

Looks nasty, I almost bought an engine that had been repaired after the cam belt snapping but didn't bother in the end as I didn't know how reliable the engine would be after the damage, sorry off topic!

Valves arrived today for spare head. Decided to give the spare head a full strip down and replace all the seals. I'll get some pics of with as mini how to if any one's interested??
