if you have a viper, the cold air feed seems to create a flatspot, i just removed mine, and it pulls all the way through the revs, and sounds beefier too
why is this joff?

Dinbat valve?
Where have you got the cold air feed? Take the battery off for a bit.
Next you'll be saying you can feel what a 5bhp difference is like.

What engine was it on? Cars equiped with air mass meters tend not to respond to well to induction kits, cars with MAP sensors respond better.
So I have been told anyway Joff.

So I have been told anyway Joff.
Air from a decent induction kit should have less turbulence and a greater volume or mass or whatever of oxygen, with the ecu reset to a learning mode it should make the most of the increased amount of air.

I had a race with perky on Friday night - some other bloke has it now, headed off to Rushden.
I had to pull over though

The ECU's are self learning, to a degree... Re-setting it may help.

your getting a flat spot because you've changed your induction route. personally you deserve one for buying a viper

It was Revs.
When they did an induction kit test... where they rated universal filters higher on a Ford Focus than actual induction kits from the likes of K&N, Pipercross, Green, etc.
No idea what they did with the breather/vacuum pipework that all the other kits had provisions for - I assume they didn't use these with the universal "Max Power" kits

Yes, yours will be free or do you just want the induction kit?

Gay love was free and once you got used to it the pain was worth it.

And you've just told me you fixed the problem with the Lexmaul inlet manifold.. by fitting it properly after the Vauxhall dealer left some of the nuts off!
