Had a proper play with my boost gauge tonight....
Overboosts to 13psi and then drops down to 7psi - this should be 9psi standard? How come its lower? Also from third gear and upwards it feels really stop/start over about 4k rpm - fitted uprated fuel regulator and it seemed to cure it but now its come back...
Any ideas???

The plug gap is more critical to the age of the plugs assuming they are not stupidly old or damaged. Your probably looking at a gap of around 0.65mm.
A squashed standard fuel pressure reg then.
