Does anyone know how to sole this prolbem. Its nothing to do with the headunit.The whole display turns off then on when it feels like it. Used to give it a whack and it would work, but its beyond that now, any help?

probably loose conenction of the connection block behind the MDF

cheers i tried fiddling round but it jus doesn't seem to have a certain place where it comes on.any solution ?

my old headuniot did wat yours did but it was a shit one, the only thing now is when i go quick over a bump it will turn everything off (h/u sub amp) but turn it self back on, i have put sum tape around all connections juist to make sure they stay put.

could even be a loose/bad ground lead.

double check the pins on the back... its best to remove the whole MFD and then check it properly.. as thats how i fixed mine...had to soldier the pins back in place as they had come loose from the MFD circuit board, not the plug!

my mfd sometimes stays on when the ignition is off, and i have to poke it to turn it off! Is that a problem?!
