is the outer seat mounting point safe enough for a harness mount?? on the outer strats on AKs car - it goes to the seat mount - but I was under the impression that these have no additional structure?

i have 6 mounting points for each set of harness (each side)....

aprox in the std positions bit with new clips welded in.... as the harnesses have quick release clampy things

they are safe enough.......

not picking on your car.... but...

Do you think thats safe... ?

If you had a front end smash, would that NOS bottle hold? Would the whole (near head height) shelve type thing hold?

the nos bottle would not be safe no, but that was only used for show in installs i didnt drive around day to day with it in, basically because 1 it wernt mine and 2 if i were o install nos in my car the fing would probably blow lol, as for the shelf yeah it would hold, the shelf was not just a shelf mate it was thick mdf sub boxes built in with fibre glass and supported by metal brackets
and one last fing mate its not my car any more i split it and sold it a good few months ago

Mounting a harness point on the C-pillar isn't a safe choice, because it's in the crumple zone, so will go loose, not good.
