No its not. Did you even bother to look anywhere before coming on a car forum to ask  Cos if you did you would have noticed that 62 quid was just a wee bit cheap for an 8mp camera.

basically, in a nice way mate lol it will be something like a 1-2mp camera, and then the software will enhance it. You need to spend around 200 quid for something decent mate  And the gaget show on channel five did a recently review, so look on their website

Its got 4 x digital zoom, so 2mp x 4 gives you the 8 'resolution'. It doesn't actually state that its 8 mp, only that the resolution is up to 8mp.
Also its got no optical zoom, so it not one I'd pick. Probably ok for the money, but you would be better spending at least twice as much and getting some quality gear - there's loads around on the camera websites.

the camera is actually just a 3.3 mega pixel camera. it's also likely to be shite. let me know how much you want to spend and I'll give you some advice
