HI,
In my boot build im using an audison LRX1400 running at 1ohm, to power the subs (900w RMS). Subs are focal F33 i think, 400w RMS 13" dual voice coil.
But anyway, ive bought the audison amp fans to keep the temprature down with it running at 1ohm, would it be safe to run the fans on one side rather than one fan on each side. (see pic). Reason i want to do this is so it looks well with the boot build. As im using the audison LRX2500 to power the components, this is practically the same amp jus two channel runing at 200w RMS at 2ohm.
The way I want to run in the picture is with the fans in red, the way it "advises" you use them is how they are shown in blue. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
John

at the end of the day the fans there to keep the amps cool. if u think that positioning it in your way we keep the fans cool then go for it.
btw i don't understand your pic. There's 2 'blue' fans but 4 red fans? and both red and blue fans are on each side??

Right the pic....
The RED bits are fans, and the green bits are fans....
The blue is the amp...

I'm guessing these fans only come on over from the edge...
if you think about it any fan for cooling is ether directly overhead or blows cool over the object or can suck in the heat over the object thus drawing in cool air over the object.
Object being amp.
Best bet get the fans and play with them by finding out what looks bets there n then and what give the betetr flow over your amp. If you have 2 spear flog em or sedn em back.

In a set you get two amps, a master and a slave.
Ive got 2 amps, one will need the fans the ohter wont, they are just for show. Anyway ive had a look inside the amp and it doesnt look like it really matters where i connect them too as the whole of the outer part is a huge heatsink.
