I only got to go on them for two days, and yes the quote i will be putting in for the work will be high as I swore i would never go on one.
Bloody north sea in december, Hoping I get to go out on a helicopter though.

I install CCTV camera/Monitoring camera the rig is faily old (1992) and has old coaxail CCTV they basic want it all upgrading to us at there remote monitoring centers cutting down on the number fo staff needed at see.
Only giving a quote and a counstalacy one weather it can be done though.

Yeah it will be good money if i get the work but I not getting that much for the advice and report that i am doing.
But if i can get the contract on the one rig i stand a better change of doing all there rigs.

I've been on a few, fireprotected a lot of steel on them, I'm back off on my travels tomorrow. Got to apply M71 to 190 square metres of steel in Carolina

Yes I arranged to have the gear and equipment shipped over the day before I was due to go, I then met the chopper at the docks the next day, with my workers, then we landed on a helipad, YAY!

It's an intumescent substance, saturated in non flammable chemicals, like a sticky paint substance, I come along with a pressurised spray pump with a line to a gun, you then spray the steel columns,beams and structures to a set thickness set by whoever your sub-contracting to.
I charge £3 per square metre usually, you could easily earn £1200 a week if you go steady, if you graft like fuck then you'll have a good christmas. It depends how good you are at pricing jobs up.

helicochopters are a bunch of arse... nothing important or glamerous about 'em noisey and bumpy
I've landed on a rig once, wasnt my stop tho so i never actually set foot on one.... been under a few flares before in boats, between the legs in one of those fast rescue boats too
