ok prob been asked a thousand times before.. but dont the 1/4 mile what u reckon is gona win a LET corsa or a throttle bodied XE?

LET pushing about 260bhp
XE about 200bhp

i reckon the XE would get the power down easier?!?!
But the LET may come past once it gets traction..

any videos of this ?!?

yeah alot of this will come down to the driver, and how the LET has been tuned

A TB'd XE is always going to have a "nice" power delivery when comared with a LET... not to mention a tuned LET!

As has already been said, if you spend enough money giving the car some traction aids then the LET would be a good choice.

Personally Id take the TB'd XE anyday

Spend enough on the XE to go faster than the LET and it will win.

At the end of the day, money wins.

I got used to it on my first drive home

XE'd Corsa is a sensible conversion - not all out performance.

My best 1/4 is 13.5, no LSD or anything.

That purple 5 door on wheel trims, is on TB's, has a slip diff (would say its 190-200bhp) and it can get a 13.1.

BUT!

With FWD cars I always watch the terminal speed, and the 13.1 car is nowhere near my terminal speed!

Its all about the first 60ft when on the 1/4!
