Which is better out of the two i mentioned, currently im swinging towards Avos because they are damping adjustable and the FKs arent, which would give a less harsh ride bearing in mind im currently on Apex shocks a springs and last night my CD skipped when i drove over an ant

avo's are true coilover type rear shocks too rather than the fk seperate jobs.
thing this means that you have to take a hammer to something at the back to make a bit of space for them.
never been in a car with either to my knowledge, so couldn't comment on ride handling.
at a guess, i'd say fk's were a nicer ride, and the avos gave better handling.

not hammer needed to make avos fit, they are very easy to get one etc, BUT the yare ver yvery very harsh, i wouldnt use them again, infact if i was buying suspension again id g ofor decent dampers and springs to be honest!
myke i wouldnt agree with anything you said unless your talking about the handeling on a race track, for road use avos are very hard and bounce you all over the road. hence fk IMO would be better..... go fk!

I agree Avo's are the dogs for handling but sh*t for comfort. Ive got a set every time you hit a bump it feels like ur wheels have fell off..
Then again havnt tried it on the softest setting??

some people will disagree but FK's arent the softest things either....
my dad's comments everytime he gets into the car with me are
"is the fcuking suspension broke on this"
there just about livable with IMO.
mine are working properly again( i wonder for how long ) and the handling is fabulous....

FK's aint all that stiff, the ride is fairly good and overall im very impressed with then handling. The ease of fitting is good, and if u really want damping adjust just get konigsports.

Who cares about ride quality when uv got amazin handling?? Most of the peeps off here probs dodge pot holes and grid covers all day and arnt bothered.
If u want comfort get a diesel estate or summit.

Mine were really easy to fit:
"Dan - fit these"...
FK's are a LOT more comfortable than other kits I've experienced and still return great handling.

With FK's you can have your cake and eat it. With a stiff ride you'll lose performance when your car can't get the wheels on the road to actually put the power down.

I can see why, with all that power. It is practically a racing car though

its still standard..
i dont find the FK stiff at all really, no stiffer than my apex kit was, and certainly no stiffer than my m8s fiesta on apex kit, im sure there are coilovers plenty stiffer than the fk ones.

The standard corsa suspension on mine was dangerous, wobblin all over the place, completely unstable at speed and i nearly crashed it as soon as i got it. Couldnt wait to get better stuff

rock hard coilovers are only better on a totally smooth surface, on britains roads they would handle worse than a decent set of shocks and springs due to bouncing and loss of traction on humps etc in the road, theyd be chronic in the wet

No officer, I wasn't speeding or driving recklessly...
I prefer the word "lively" or "spirited"
