I have removed the crappy manual aerial on my Astra that the previous owner bodged sorry fitted, and fitted an electric one I bought off someone on Cavweb.
Now not only do I have an electric aerial, but it works too - I can happily listen to all my favourite local radio stations to my heart's content!

Looks like the previous owner put one of those Halfords jobbies on there.
Oh well, at least my car is back to original GLS specification!

halfords ones are fine, unless you get the wrong one and wire it up wrong

Maybe it was faulty, as I could never get much reception when it was up. With this new electric one I got (it's a proper GM one), I can get all the local radio stations etc. perfectly clear.
