I know people say its better than induction kits etc, and i wouldn't put a non sealed induction kit on my car, if i was going to get one i'd get a Viper, but i was thinking about drilling the box. What will it sound like on a 1.8 16v ? And will i be classed as a chav if i do

Drilling the airbox is gay - modify the inside, not the outside.

You can't see a drilled airbox cos the bottom is drilled. I can't help but think my car is a bit too good to start doing chav things like that to

That's what I did with the airbox on the Astra. It has a big hole at the bottom of the airbox anyway so no point drilling any more holes.

I was thinking about the Sebring 6x4 oval on each side, as i get sebring trade price too, but i think it might be a bit OTT, i might just get a single 6x4 oval. I really want an induction roar from it tho

Your Corsa had an electric whisk motor for an engine.
I doubt it left the factory with any torque at low revs

Don't bother drilling the box mate u'll do more harm than good. Sort out a full system, simple foam filter and then derestrict the air system.

Check out Astra Sport and search for derestrict and it'll all come up.

I've done it and am fully chuffed!

Yeah Red there is a guide on AS mate.

All you have to do is take the pipe out of the top peice of airbox..it just unclips. Also i think the pipe come off the bottom peice aswell if i remember.Just open it and you will see what i mean

Also get a Vectra C air intake from Vaux which has a bigger intake on it Cheap mod.

The Vectra bits cost like a tenner and will just help it breathe more easily. Easy to do but fckin fiddly!

Ta Joff - yeah its a full Remus and that was the before pic.

Mine isn't quiet at all mate, but not chavishly loud either

Having the full system rather than just the backbox made a hell of a difference.

I'd have 30mm Eibachs over 40mm Apex springs anyway. The 10mm difference is negligible when comparing the spring quality.
