they really do serve no other function that to remove money from your wallet.

note the only thing you might see is a decrease in interference with your radio with better insulated HT leads

Standard Vauxhall leads or Beru leads are some of the best quality leads out there and all you need.
If you can get "quad-core" leads for a lot less than OE spec, then go for it - cost wins, but otherwise I wouldn't bother.

You can improve the core, insulate against all interference, but if there's nothing wrong with standard leads, you're not going to see any benefit.

places sell them because they know dumb fucks like you beleive what they read in rev's I remember a few years ago they did a lead test. 13hp increase did one set achive. they fail to tell you that the original ones were fucked. like when they do exhaust tests. the original exhaust is most likely fucked.

Exactly - when was the last time a "backbox" test included a brand new standard OE backbox?

Well Thanx for calling me a dumb fcuk but I can assure you i'm not. I don't belive that they increase performance but they must have a benefit in some way.
I was only post the link just in case someone was interested. I ain't getting them anyway cos my car doesn't have HT leads.

One other thing to consider when buying an aftermarket set of leads is that Vauxhall leads typically last for most of the life of the engine.
Will non-GM leads be able to do the same?

Magnecor give a pretty much no-quibble warranty with theirs which is one reason why they've become such a reputable lead manufacturer.

I want to remove my HT leads and just use metal coathangers with no insulation.

I was reliably informed that I would be getting a 55bhp increase by doing the above mod.

You were also told that by having oil drop from the oil filter, you could get the front wheels to move faster than if you used the engine.

Sadly this piece of information is true
