How??

I used about a dozen submitting tools & sites, including the Lycos & Google ones about 3 months ago when I was ready to get my site 'sort' of live, and still nothing is there if i search for it..

even tried searching for site addresses/urls/links containing the site name & got nothing

just takes ages. The best way is to get as many sites linking to yours as possible. This is what google looks for anyway. Also try submitting it to the Google open directory as most sites use this as a basis http://dmoz.org/add.html
