When people put pictures of there car on the internet is there a reason why they blank out the number plate??

I have seen some piccys with the plate blanked out, but the next one or so you can see the full reg why?

maybe they dont want some1 off the internet tracing them to an address somehow

i think its got summit to do with number plate fraud...............coz u can make exactly the same plates up for about £25 and u dont even need to produce any documents to get em

incase the use a car for a robbery or it was in a hit and run, they would trace the car bacause of the reg

yeah but u see 100's of cars drive past u every day, im not sure why people hide the plates

i wud hav thought becuz ppl post what they have in their car and on their car and car theives mite trace it to their address so they can steal their stereos n stuff - thts my theory

There's a few reasons, finding out where people live, cloning the reg to drive through speed cameras, steal stuff etc.
