Temp sender sensor on a gsi? as my temp guage has ceased to work, the thermostat must be ok as the fan still cuts in

I think its in the thermostat housing next to the blue sensor for the ECU
Fan has its own sensor in the side of the rad

left front of engine bay, where top hose attaches to thermostat housing
to the left side of that there will be 2 sensors... 1 with a blue plug (2 wires) other just a snap on connector (one wire)
the one with just one wire connected is the temp sensor for the dash

tiny tim hasn't died yet

as far as I can make out... the engine needs dropping to get to it. already looked - just no room at all
