its alot of hardwork mate...serious hardwork. Your gonna have to get pretty pukka in the old gym, as you will still be taken through the training - even cooks have to go through the training

plus on the money side of things, its obviously gonna be alot lower than what you are on now, as i doubt you would ever earn 72 odd k a year.

but it looks good mate
I was looking at going in as a pilot, but a) all the public school kids have better advantage etc and b) i doubt i would be the type of person they would want, so i gave up on the idea....although that is a propper sweet job

I know the trainging is hard, but you have to be able to run a mile in 12mins, i can do that , and the aptitude test isnt that hard,

Dom on the subject of piolots they only take on 4 a year (fighter pilots that is)

yea i know...and majority of them are taken from public schools due to the fact that thats what they want and the type of people to fly them etc
Its alot easier to get into the navy as a pilot, but even then they still are fecking picky.

However, if i wanted to be a cook or a band player, then no probs

think there's been a huge shake up now since Sept 11th..

the Army wouldn't even let my bro in law near a gun for 6months first time he laid hands on one was in Iraq...

Army and Navies across the world have tightened their belts with regards to safety
