My mate had one exact same colour traded it for a new Clio and the gave him.............................£300

Ok it had a few dents and missing a wing mirror so maybe £600 if its in alright nick

I like it, but then i kinda clicked on that a car thats 10 years old shouldnt be worth £1495, its completely standard

if its a minter, its probably worth a grand if the mileage is low, as veedubs hold their value well

but if its got average mileage, £800

As I said my mate traded his into arnold clark about 2 months ago 1.0L red Polo cl had a few minor bumps and a missing wing mirror.....got £300

IMO if your looking for something like that get down an auction with someone that knows cars insideout and get something like that for half the money

Same my sister traded a Punto 85 with 42000 miles on it 96N plate, got £500 for a trade in.

The garage is just going to punt it to auction to try and get there money back on it......go there get a bargain!

Think i might end up going to an auction with richie, but my parents will be paying upto 1k, then i pay anything over that. They live in swindon and i hardly see them so it might be a case of me finding a car in their area, then taking them to pay for it
