had my rocker cover powder coated, and after a while, for some reason, it will start leaking oil from the filler cap. even a new filler cap and seal wouldnt sort it, was throwing oil all around underside of bonnet, so removed it and put a standard rocker on - just a little warning

PM Nikki on Mig - does loads of chrome/polished bits.
Also, pretty sure Miles on here can supply powder coated rocker covers on exchange

No!! NOT BLUE!! Durr, cant stand flat blue, maybe arden blue but I want it different from the body colour. Anyone have or wanna shop me it in white Pleeze?
Dont see how having it powder coated can cause the oil cap to leak - Its allready powdercoated in silver - this will be exchanged for white???

Its only costing me a tenner to get the rocker and belt cover dipped, sand blasted and powdercoated. Getting it polished & plated would probably cost best part of £50/£60 & would need constant attention to look its best, white isnt going to show up white salty road water as much as chromed would, agreed though it would look good but mine isnt a show-only car...

Or get a base colour of yellow, with a blue crackle of the top then have the spark plug cover in chrome

Ahh you know what Alex, youre right!

Although white isnt to your lots taste would it be a complete disaster if it was white, ahh fook it im gonna stop being a woman and im doing it white LOL. Havent decided on the L piece - mite keep it red.

get it done black but what ever you do dont get it sand blasted it will cost you a pretty penny in the long run...trust me
if you do get it sand blasted make sure all the baffle plates are taken out. Best bet is to get it dipped in a reclaim tank
