I need some opinions on the 306 compared to the 106..

I used to have a Y reg 106 GTI in black but now i fancy a 306 GTI-6 in black.

I know the pug had 120 brake odd as standard but the 306 has 167 This must transfer well on the road??? The thing about the 106 that made me sell it was the fact that unless you were screaming the balls off it it was such a pig to drive The engine was also really noisy.

Now EVO rekon the 0-60 of the 106 is 7.4

And the 306 7.2

So it must be quicker and has a much better engine? Better driving position? Less noisy and better to drive?

Plus whack on a set of TB's and

Gearbox's are shit on the 106 though so maybe he just got a bad one?

The insurance on most cars is just taking the piss though Kolin mate! 200SX, GTI-R,Scooby all coming in at 2K while the 306 is only £750!!!

Im sure if you buy a 306, you will be wanting something else within another 4 months anyway........U must be losing money keep changing cars every 6 months?

Dig deep for insurance and that grin factor you know its what you want

Its the car you have wanted for over a year now......I dont think you will be content until you have one to be honest

Im between £40 and £70 a week on Petrol......usually £50 and 1st week I had it I think about £150 I drove everywhere

Servicing and parts aint that bad to be honest....well for a UK anyway. Bit expensive to tune them but the BHP/£ is nice

Everyone said the 106 handled soooo good but tbh it wasn't anything special! Snapped out on you if you push it a little bit.I prefer a car to slide and be controlable.
