Discuss.

My personal viewpoint is that they're almost a factory wheel due to how common they are on cars without big kits or with only subtle mods.

They also fit well, which is another reason to have them.

They fit well, they look good, & there quite light.

Is this not goog enough reason to have them on a suitable car?

The thing is though they're not that common.

Also have you though that they are "common" as people have considered practicality when choosing their wheels?

Things only become common for a reason, because they look good

When did you fit the flux capacitor to your car?

Don't comment on the future of styling trends as we all dont know what is going to be "in fashion" next

Yeah but this isn't entirely about what is common.

Impreza P1 still looks good with what are effetively aftermarket wheels provided by OZ.

Standard Astra Coupe Turbo looks good with a set of simple 5 spokes in an appropriate size, which complements the rest of the car.

Its not about doing something which hasn't been done before. You're also overplaying the magnitude of the problem, there are at most 10 cars wearing them on here? All look good in their own right and perhaps also important for those 10 people each car drives well and doesn't look too wacky or boyracer.

I disagree it was a 'craze'. Maybe a few people saw my car, or Matts, or Timruds and though 'yeah good choice', but I don't see everyone going crazy and following fashion and doing that for that season baby.

If its such a craze then I'll surely want to do something new this year with my car?

Nope.

Its a 1993 car with a very small amount of improvement. Its not meant to be the next big thing.
