i was in 2nd gear taking my 1st exit off the roundabout into our village, got to about 4000revs n the car jerked as if slamming the brakes on, straight away the engine management light came on. just wondering what could have caused this. i'm going to disconnect the battery in a bit and see if resetting the ECU letting it remap itself will help.
hope i don't have to have them diagnostics things done on it

Without getting a fault code i am sure it could be a million possibilitys
My advice would be to get to vauxhall and get a diagnostics done
I do believe yours is a Corsa C isnt it so a paperclip test is out the question
