is there anyway to get round the restricted sites at work like typing in the sites ip address, i know there is a way

think you can use an online nslookup - then type the IP address you get from that in the explorer bar - or is that just bollocks?

might work for you but try http-tunnel.com. U might be able to configure it to get round work. Dont ask me how to set it up cos i dont know, u can always try???? good luck

Use a proxy server through a portal.

Or if you can access your LAN Settings for your browser, you can configure the proxy there.
