... no one will insure me

I didnt think insurance on a tigra would be that bad, the car ive seen is a 1.4 so its not a big engine

my gf learning to drive the now, been looking at cars insurance etc for her at 18 (based on having licence for only 1 month) and tigra was like 650 squid FC in her name with me as named driver... Admiral by the way

Admirals good....thats who im with just now - £850 FC 22 2yrs ncb on Impreza turbo 2000UK + Alloys

21 year old with 3 years no claims was paying 3.5k

thats a real good quote will look into that!

Yeah, Craig W on here pays about £3.5k Madness!

It is a good quote, got my renewal on March 15th so hope it come's down even more, although ive had a quote off elephant which was alright so I may change back to them. These are only 10 month policies btw

Stick with UK model and you should get a decent quote, an import WRX was double for me for some reason!

There are group 9 i think. Get a Corsa 1.2 which are group 2 - 3, Clio 1.2 - group 3 or a 106 1.1 again group 3.

I was £5k + £500 trade in for mine and I was 21 with 2yrs when I bought it. Good luck.....you dont need luck.

Insurance tips - Estimate millage 5k a year, value to 4995, garaged over night and Stick your old mum on the policy

Also ask if a tracker would make a difference in price a cat 1 alarm is a must also!!

They do a 1.6 tigra aswell I'm sure?

I had a 1.4 corsa sri as my 1st car, it cost me about £1600 from elephant tpft. I cant see a tigra being a problem and your a girl so will be cheaper
