i have set it up perfectlyon one laptop and desk top. i am using the MAC address for security.
but when i try to use the sae wirless card in a different laptop, it wount connect, or it will connect after about half and hour randomly.
why is this?
im using a voyager 2100 and voyager card, ive udated the firware to work with AOL so not problems there.

because the mac address has changed probably. So if you want to use it in different laptops, then take mac address security off otherwise leave it on

I'm using voyager 2100 too I haven't got around to setting the security yet I'll have to get stuck in

no the MAC adress is the same, its the same wireless card, checked that. And doesnt explain why it logs on randomly later on. ta anyway

use MAC address settings as the WEP slows it down no end, if you need anyhelp

I'm just doing a bit of tidying and then i might have a go.
One question i do have is, does your PCI work with ZoneAlarm. Mine won't work but the laptop card will.

I'm using BT Voyager 2100 Wireless network too. It runs 2 PC desktops and 2 laptops.
Whenever I turn the modem off from the mains, then turn the power back on my computers detect a "new network" and I have to set the whole thing back up again. Anyone know if there's a way round this?
