when i turn my ignition on, usually u get a few lights appear such as handbreak batt etc.. well mine dont. if i turn the engine on they still dont. but if i rev it a little the handbreak light does come on.
also my interior light is messed its dim when the engine is off but again, if i rev the engine it goes to normal brightness. when the lights come on (after reviving) the batary light stays on.. even when im driving. also my temp gage is acting more like a rev counter. when i rev the engin after it has heated up it moves the dile. if im at a steady pace its past the 100 mark, reving brings it down . i have been told it could be my altenator. is this right?
any suggestions to fix the prob will b hugely appreciated

yeah, i'd say check alternator cables, if theyre ok, then try a new alternator on it.

replaced alternator yesterday nd still the same problem - n e other ideas? oh yeah my fule gage isnt working now either :S bloody thing!!
