sounds like bottom end was replaced as went bang perhaps...

i dont think so, since vauxhall would have started with the original XE engine block to create an LET

i always thought the LET was an XE, but with uprated internals ?? (i may be worng !!!!)

your engine number should start C20let, but i gues the bottom end was replaced at some point. i have a block in my garden for a let with an enginr no that starts 20xe.. wouldnt worry tbh, aslong as all the machining was done properly to take the turbo oil feed amd return

rods. crank etc are the same. only pistons are different

i think u would notice a difference if it was running high compression pistons

no they have a dish missing in the piston to lower the compression
